In Cortenova, there is a Water House (Casetta dell’acqua), a public point where you can refill your bottles with still or sparkling water.
It is located only 750 meters from the accommodation, about 2 minutes by car or 10 minutes on foot.
It is a practical, economical, and more sustainable option for guests staying in the area, as it helps reduce the use of plastic bottles and allows you to enjoy local water in a simple way.
To use it, just bring a suitable bottle or container and follow the instructions on the machine. The service requires a small payment, usually around 5 euro cents per liter.
In addition to the Water House, Cortenova also has several public fountains throughout the village. The water from these fountains is drinkable, fresh, and suitable for consumption, as is common in many small Italian mountain villages.
There is also a public fountain just a few meters from the accommodation, very convenient for filling a bottle before going out for a walk, a bike ride, or exploring the area.
Tip: if you like sparkling water, it is worth bringing a reusable bottle and refilling it at the Water House during your stay. For still water, the public fountains are also an excellent everyday option.
